Today we are increasingly receiving audio and visual files in different formats. Popular fields for our translation and transcription are advertising marketing files, films, reports, documentary films, animal films, documentary tapes introducing products, video clips and radio interviews, etc.
Process of translation and transcription requires professional translators and takes more time than normal written translation. For languages such as English, Japanese, German, Russian, Chinese, only native translators are used to produce an absolutely correct transcription. After having the transcription, we will translate it into the target language of our customer's demand.
Translation cost
As described above translation and transcription is a comprehensive process which takes more time than normal written translation. The fee for a transcription is as follows:
60 USD per a 30- minute audio or visual file - plus our current translation price.
Translation fee
We cannot be completely sure how many words there are in an audio or visual file until they are transcripted and counted in a normal way. It is estimated that the content of a 30-minute interview between 2 persons will produce about 3000 words (in English). A radio broadcast will create from 4000 to 5000 spoken words.
This applies to English And to Japanese which is concise and therefore the number of words is more. However, German words are longer and therefore the numbers of the words are fewer for the same duration of time.
