In the beginning...

Nguyen Xuan Khanh Phong graduated from the faculty of English Translation and Interpretation at the Hanoi University of Foreign Studies in 1999. While many students undergoing tertiary education in Vietnam will devote their time solely to their studies, Nguyen Xuan Khanh Phong expanded his options by undertaking in a variety of roles externally that were relevant to his field of interest. In addition to his tertiary studies, Nguyen Xuan Khanh Phong worked part time as an English teacher and as an international freelancer for various translation companies and international organizations in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and others worldwide.
Upon graduating Nguyen Xuan Khanh Phong continued to expand his potential for, and cement his knowledge of translation at an elite and highly professional level. In August 2003, with a strong will and determination Nguyen Xuan Khanh Phong began his own professional translation business. As well as operating his business he has designed training programs, managed innovative translation projects and collaborated with Bachelors from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies, Foreign Trade University, University of Technology and Institute for International Relations. As a bachelor of foreign language with a great deal of translation experience, Phong has discovered the real demand of domestic and foreign enterprises, organizations and individuals for a high-quality translation service. This urged him to establish a professional translation office with highly trained top –ranking personnel to serve and support enterprises to carry out their translation projects.
Since its establishment in Hanoi, Golden Light Translation and Localization has quickly attracted many talented, creative and enthusiastic employees who really want to work in such a professional environment and provide a high-quality service.

At present, Golden Light Translation Office has more than 10 full time professional translators as well as translation project managers, contract representatives, collaborators and engineers. We are providing high-quality translation in over 20 languages for documents of all kinds, including correspondence material, brochures, websites, economic agreements, bidding documents, marketing and investment documents, machine manuals, financial statements, pre-feasibility and feasibility research reports of projects, training programs, DTP projects, game and software localization, etc
With translation capability of 300,000 – 400,000 words per month and a modern computer system, supporting software for many different kinds of documents, Golden Light has proved its prominent working capacity to various partners in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city as well as to customers worldwide.
